I have very much enjoyed giving two lectures for ASU on Zoom using Power Point, basically covering world wind band and wind ensemble repertoire since 1981. Other topics are possible. I am obviously not travelling anywhere, perhaps not even to the Mid-West, so I am available throughout the year.

MAYDAY saw the running of the 147th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, and inspired me to listen to Irwin Bazelon’s super Churchill Downs Concerto which I conducted in 1982 at the RNCM.

Saturday 24th April was booked for the premiere of my latest and probably last commission with the Unión Musical Santa Cecilia of Villar del Arzobispo and my grandson Andy, Luis Serrano Alarcon's Cello Concerto, now postponed until October. Hasta la vista, UMSC Villar del Arzobispo.
